Charlie Kirk shooting suspect taken into custody

Officials say the Charlie Kirk shooting suspect in Kirk’s killing has been identified as Tyler Robinson, who is now in Utah County Jail facing charges including aggravated murder. According to Gov. Spencer Cox, the investigation broke open after a family member told a friend that Robinson had confessed or hinted at his involvement, prompting authorities to act.

Investigators later learned Robinson had spoken negatively about Kirk before the shooting. They recovered a bolt-action rifle wrapped in a towel, along with shell casings inscribed with phrases such as “Hey fascist! Catch!” which they believe were tied to the attack. (Source)
